Polar temperature: The temperature in the polar regions.
Equatorial temperature: The temperature in the equatorial regions. In the poles and in the equator, the temperature variation during the day, night, summer and winter are less important. Remember also that the absolute minimum temperature is -273 ° C.
Note that temperature varies with latitudes (cooler in the poles, hotter in the equator), altitude and liquid water presence (-1 to -6 degrees in summer near a significant body of water, +1 to +6 degrees in winter).
