Something has gone wrong at the Motokatsu-Kyono Combine special project facility known as Test Facility 3188. There has been a serious accident in the top secret labs on sub-level 9, where Doctor Yosano and his team have been conducting research into a ground breaking discovery in interdimensional physics.
The players take on the roles of a group of survivors who have almost made it to the surface and to freedom. Trouble is, whatever the accident was, it has spread what appears to be some kind of biological contagion, which has infected most of the other personnel at Test Facility 3188...
