Introduction
Welcome to the world of Cthulhu Rising - Call of Cthulhu Roleplaying in the 23rd Century.
Cthulhu Rising is a science-fiction expansion for the Call of Cthulhu © roleplaying game, and is published by Chaosium as part of their MULA Monograph series in both print format and PDF format. This website is dedicated to supporting Cthulhu Rising by providing background material, adventures and supplemental rules.
Cthulhu Rising is constantly changing, and the aim is to keep the site updated as regularly as possible. Any and all feedback is welcomed, as long as it is constructive - go to the contact page to send us an email.
We also have a dedicated forum where visitors can discuss adventure ideas, post suggestions for the campaign setting, talk about game rules or just read about the exploits of my own roleplaying groups. TEMPORARILY DISCONNECTED
Posted on: 9th June, 2009 : 13:12:04 GMT
Apologies for the recent lack of news postings on the site, and a slower response rate to forum posts, but I have just become a father for the second time, and as such am obviously a little bit busy at the moment.Once things are less chaotic, and a new pattern to family life emerges, rest assured it will be back to business as usual (or as near to it as I can) at cthulhurising.co.uk.
In the meantime, thanks for the continued support for Cthulhu Rising. The fact that so many people enjoy the setting makes it all worth while.
Keep on keeping on

CHAOSIUM SALE - 30% OFF!
Posted on: 13th May, 2009 : 22:03:04 GMT
If you haven't already not noticed, Chaosium are having a sale - 30% off all normally priced items until the morning of Monday May 18th.This means 30% off the normal price of Cthulhu Rising and Jovian Nightmares, whether you want the print or PDF version. So if you've been considering buying either (or both!), now is a good time to go for it. Remember - more sales means more chance of Chaosium turning the monograph(s) into a full distribution title.
Thanks for the continued support.

FURNACE 2009
Posted on: 10th May, 2009 : 20:43:37 GMT
Family commitments allowing, I plan attending Furnace 2009 - so far only for Saturday 10th October. Hopefully I'll be running a Cthulhu Rising adventure in the afternoon slot - The Ganymede Job is a prequel to Escape Velocity, and was originally featured as an adventure seed in the Chaosium Monograph Jovian Nightmares. The Ganymede Job
A Cthulhu Rising adventure for 3-6 players
You prefer to call yourselves freelance specialists. Others prefer to call you corporate mercenaries, but what's in a name? Besides, the pay is good, and as the man once said: It's a dirty job but someone's got to do it.
On face value it looked like a juicy contract: infiltrate a corporate lab on Ganymede and steal an item of interest to your employers. A simple piece of corporate espionage. You go in, you grab the goods, and you get out.
You thought all you had to fear was getting caught. You were wrong. Very wrong...
More details nearer the time. In the meantime, feel free to discuss this in the Furnace 2009 forum thread.
I may also be running something non-Cthulhu Rising related in the morning session - more on that nearer the time. ;-)
