Introduction
Welcome to the world of Cthulhu Rising - Call of Cthulhu Roleplaying in the 23rd Century.
Cthulhu Rising is a science-fiction expansion for the Call of Cthulhu © roleplaying game, and is published by Chaosium as part of their MULA Monograph series in both print format and PDF format. This website is dedicated to supporting Cthulhu Rising by providing background material, adventures and supplemental rules.
Cthulhu Rising is constantly changing, and the aim is to keep the site updated as regularly as possible. Any and all feedback is welcomed, as long as it is constructive - go to the contact page to send us an email.
We also have a dedicated forum where visitors can discuss adventure ideas, post suggestions for the campaign setting, talk about game rules or just read about the exploits of my own roleplaying groups. THE GANYMEDE JOB - FREE DOWNLOAD FOR CHRISTMAS
Posted on: 21st December, 2009 : 18:39:01 GMT
As promised, here is The Ganymede Job in time for Christmas. I'm offering this adventure as a limited-time free download during the Christmas period. As a disclaimer, I should stress that The Ganymede Job has only been very briefly checked for typos, so please forgive any that you find, or any omissions. The adventure includes all the Investigator handouts and maps at the back. There is also a separate file containing the pregens I created for when my own gaming group play-tested the game. There is one omission - Amelie Loengard is not present, as I cannot locate the PDF. If I manage to track it down I'll add it to the zip file.
So without further ado, here are the files:
Download the Ganymede Job as a PDF.
Download the Ganymede Job pregens as a WinZip file.
Have a Happy Christmas and see you in 2010 for more Space Wibblies!
Keep watching the skies!

HAVE A JOVIAL JOVIAN NIGHTMARES CHRISTMAS
Posted on: 18th December, 2009 : 14:47:54 GMT
Christmas is almost here, and with it will come the promised release of The Ganymede Job as a free PDF download from this website.I'll be making it available on the website next week, by Christmas Eve at the very latest. It will then be available, for free, until Twelfth Night.
After that, who knows? ;-)
Anyway - sorry for lack of updates in the latter half of 2009, but family commitments meant I had a lot less time to spend on Cthulhu Rising than I would have liked. As a kind of normality slowly returns to the Ottomancer household, I hope the situation to improve slightly in the new year. I have a lot of projects on the go, both related to Cthulhu Rising and to other RPG games, but I really appreciate all the support and feedback I get via this site, and from people I meet at conventions.
Have a good holiday season!
:-)
FURNACE FAIL
Posted on: 10th October, 2009 : 11:21:32 GMT
My sincere apologies to those of you who were hoping to play The Ganymede Job at Furnace this weekend. I am a big fan of Furnace, and have really enjoyed both running and playing games at the event over the past couple of years, but Real Life ® in the form of family commitments has dictated that I am unable to attend this year.
I'll still hopefully be releasing The Ganymede Job as a free PDF download, so watch this space for more details.
For those of you going to Furnace, have fun, and hope to see you at Continuum or Furnace next year, Real Life ® allowing.
